Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for leading a Sales, Operations, and Visual team at ALO in Brooklyn, focusing on achieving sales and profitability goals, maintaining merchandising standards, and creating a positive, productive work environment aligned with ALO’s mission. Drives local market knowledge, KPI-driven strategies, and talent development, including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and recruitment. Oversees scheduling, store operations, and visual standards, and collaborates cross-functionally to support organizational goals while embodying ALO’s guiding principles and culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail or related industry leadership experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles
- Business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
