Job Summary
Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the Corona thrift store to drive customer satisfaction, donor relations, and store profitability. Oversees scheduling and supervision of store employees, hires and interviews new personnel, and ensures effective training on store policies and procedures. Manages cash handling, banking, and loss-prevention measures; maintains safety standards and compliance with ARCC policy and governmental regulations. Leads team meetings, coordinates daily operations, and works with District Sales Manager and HR on performance evaluations and policy updates. Focuses on delivering a positive shopping/donor experience and achieving budgeted goals while supporting The Salvation Army’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience
- Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and schedule/supervise store employees
- Valid Driver's license with proof of insurance
- Must pass Motor Vehicle Records check
- Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors
