Job Summary
As Store Manager, lead day-to-day store operations to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, and execute marketing and promotional directives. Develop and coach staff, forecast staffing needs, implement recruiting strategies, maintain front- and back-of-house operations, manage inventory, budgets, and shrink, and ensure accurate recordkeeping (hiring, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, actions, terminations). Collaborate with Area/District Managers, deliver on profitability targets, and uphold company standards while guiding growth paths for associates within the store and broader organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or applicable certification or equivalent experience
- 5 years of functional experience
- Experience managing individual contributors and a department or acting as a lead
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems and drive decisions affecting finances, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Skill operating a POS system and various software packages
