Job Summary
Directly supervise 2+ full-time employees, including Assistant Managers and Customer Service Representatives, by recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling staff to maximize customer service. Manage store operations by ensuring cleanliness, adequate stocking, and adherence to company standards while developing positive relationships with suppliers. Analyze daily sales and expense data to maximize net profits, budget P&L lines, and safeguard all cash and inventory. Conduct regular performance appraisals in Workday, including 30-, 60-, 90-day, and annual check-ins, while training staff on safety procedures, cash awareness, and marketing execution. Ensure all required reports, merchandise displays, and employment posters are completed and accessible. Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, performing occasional work in walk-in coolers, outdoors, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
- Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week
- Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist
- Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
- Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead for objects
- Ability to bend and twist at waist
- Ability to communicate orally
- Ability to operate a cash register and/or computer keyboard
- Ability to stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, and pull
- Ability to work alone
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
- Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of retail work experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
