Job Summary
Maximize sales and profitability by maintaining operating budgets, creating action plans, and ensuring all company programs are executed consistently. Lead and empower store employees to provide an outstanding shopping experience while recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff including Assistant Store Managers and technicians. Accountable for executing operational procedure updates, store appearance, merchandising, inventory levels, and regulatory standards to ensure a safe workplace. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints, demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, and act as a partner with store, field, and corporate office partners. Execute Human Resources processes and manage professional goals for co-managed advisors. Requires a valid driver's license, open dialogue with all partners, and availability for shifts starting at 5:00 am and ending at 6:30 pm, with some locations open 7 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Read and write English for safety purposes
- Ability to create and manage a budget
- Ability to manage and account for both shrink and swell in inventory
- Ability to calculate figures in the practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and practical algebra
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must have the ability to legally drive your own vehicle on occasion for meetings and various tasks
- Opening shifts as early as 5:00 am
- Closing shifts as late as 6:30 pm
- Workdays vary depending on location; some are open 7 days per week
