Job Summary
Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in the effective implementation of store processes including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking and receiving, paperwork, and store needs. Responsibilities include assisting in recruiting and staffing, merchandising, inventory control, maintaining in-stock targets, delivering superior customer service leadership, participating in opening/closing, cash control and deposits, ensuring financial integrity and security procedures, maintaining a clean and well-stocked store, operating in the store manager's absence, analyzing operating statements for trends, and completing paperwork per guidelines. The role emphasizes staff development, recruitment, legal compliance, and ensuring store operations align with company policies and procedures; strong emphasis on cash handling, safety, and customer service across a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates
