Job Summary
Store Manager Candidate role at Dollar General in Panama City Beach. Supports the Store Manager in staffing, inventory management, stocking, merchandising, cash handling, and store operations; assists with recruiting, training, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits; analyzes operating statements for sales trends, labor and inventory efficiency; maintains safe, well-stocked stores and provides exceptional customer service leadership; requires ability to manage paperwork, compliance with policies, and lead in the absence of the store manager; bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to recruit, hire, and train staff
- Ability to learn IBM cash register functions
- Ability to interpret documents and safety rules
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in inventory management and merchandising practices
- Knowledge of federal labor law compliance and company policies
- Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred
