STORE MANAGER CANDIDATE in LYNDONVILLE, VT

Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in implementing store processes, including supervising staff, staffing, inventory management, stocking and receiving, paperwork, and general store needs. The role focuses on external candidate development for the Store Manager position and is held for a limited period. Responsibilities include assisting in recruiting and staffing, merchandising duties, inventory management, ordering practices to meet in-stock targets, delivering superior customer service leadership, participating in store opening/closing, ensuring safe deposits and cash controls, maintaining clean and well-stocked stores, operating the store in the manager's absence, analyzing operating statements for trends and opportunities, and completing required paperwork on deadlines. The role requires knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, recruiting, and safety policies, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Preference may be given to bilingual Spanish speakers and applicants with prior retail leadership experience.
