Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates
- Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls
- Ability to learn IBM cash register functions and generate reports
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Knowledge of lending/receiving processes and store security
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze sales, labor, profitability, and inventory turn
