Job Summary
Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in staffing, inventory management, merchandising, cashier controls, and store operations. Responsible for assisting with recruiting, stocking, pricing, opening/closing duties, and ensuring a safe, well-stocked store with strong customer service leadership. Plays a role in reviewing operating statements, inventories, and ensuring financial integrity and adherence to company policies. External candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; note that the assignment is for developing external candidates for a Store Manager role and involves travel to Dollar General locations as needed.
