Job Summary
Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of company policies, standards, and initiatives. Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions, and pricing with Assistant Store Manager and Merchandising. Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, and returns-to-vendor paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy. Act as Manager on Duty, modeling Burlington SOPs and leading by example to deliver professional customer service. Take ownership of multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget, including all associated reporting and record-keeping. Handle recruitment, screening, hiring, onboarding, training, and personnel relations issues. Manage payroll budget, workforce management, and scheduling. Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
- Travel may be required from time to time
