Job Summary
Store Manager responsible for directing all store operations to maximize sales while upholding Burlington’s values. Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates; ensure execution of policies, standards, initiatives, and merchandise placement; oversee budget, staffing, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee relations. Drive customer service excellence and a world-class shopping experience; partner with operations and merchandising leadership to coordinate receiving, transfers, and RTVs; act as Manager on Duty and cultivate a strong leadership presence. Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expenses, lead recruitment and hiring, and facilitate communication across store teams and district/regional management. Requires 5+ years of Retail Management experience, flexible scheduling, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs; travel may be required. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs
- Experience with scheduling and reporting software (computer software)
