Job Summary
Store Manager at MFA Petroleum’s Big O Tires location is responsible for overseeing store operations, driving profitability, managing costs, training and developing the store team, maintaining storefront appearance, ensuring adherence to operational procedures, handling daily customer interactions and complaints, and stepping into any role as needed to maintain 100% service standards. The role requires coordinating all aspects of store operations (sales, office, shop, management), staffing and training, enforcing safety and company policies, guiding staff through customer issues, conducting weekly meetings, merchandising and promotions planning, and ensuring achievement of sales goals, gross profit, expense control, and payroll objectives. Candidates should have strong leadership, communication, math, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work holidays and weekends, travel occasionally, operate a vehicle, and meet company requirements including pre-employment screenings.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain state appropriate Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire
- Ability to communicate in English effectively
