Job Summary
Prepare the store for business, execute closing tasks, and maintain organized displays while managing overall store operations including expenses, merchandising, safety, and security. Coach employees, handle freight deliveries, and resolve customer issues through to completion. Manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and prioritize tasks independently under tight deadlines. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Assist with daily sales floor interactions and support the management team in driving sales and profitability.
Required Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, especially if in a retail related field (Business, Retail Management, Sales, Communications, etc.)
- 5+ year(s) of retail experience
- 5+ years of prior experience in a supervisory role
- 2+ years of management experience at Bi-Mart or Cascade Farm & Outdoor
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or similar programs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Albertsons is also an asset!
- Previous experience as an assistant manager, 1st assistant manager, and other similar positions are valued.
