Job Summary
Store Manager at Autobarn in Australia leading day-to-day store operations, building and coaching a high-performing team, driving sales growth, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining safety and compliance. Responsible for visual merchandising, promotions, rostering, inventory and performance metrics, reporting to the Area Manager, and delivering results through a hands-on leadership style for a 38-hour week (Tuesday–Saturday). Automotive experience is advantageous but leadership and ability to drive results are prioritized, with a focus on service excellence, team development, and operational standards across a nationally recognised automotive retailer.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‐performing teams
- A sales‐driven mindset with the capability to deliver financial results and KPI’s
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A values‐led, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with the ability to lead change and build strong customer and retail relationships
- Commitment to workplace health & safety, compliance, and risk management practices
