Job Summary
Lead store operations by recruiting, hiring, and coaching staff to achieve sales goals while maintaining optimal staffing levels. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through styling, fitting, and consistent coaching to drive individual performance. Manage store profitability by controlling expenses, protecting assets, and enforcing policies for merchandising, operations, and loss prevention. Oversee annual performance reviews, facilitate employee terminations when necessary, and execute directives from Visual Merchandising and Marketing. Represent the brand in all interactions, manage scheduling for weekend and night shifts, and conduct financial audits and inventories. Requires 4+ years in specialty retail, weekend availability, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail
- at least 2+ years of management experience
- Strong leadership ability
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
- Career-driven, strong work ethic and high performance standards
- High level of initiative/self-starter
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to accurately and efficiently operate cash register while following cash handling procedures
- Must work weekend and night shifts
- Climb ladders as needed
- Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed
- Occasional travel, often with little advance notice may be required (including air and overnight travel)
