Job Summary
Store Manager at Extra Space Storage oversees daily operations of a self-storage location with emphasis on customer relationships, sales via unit rentals and moving supplies, site cleanliness, safety inspections, and efficient financial handling including cash transactions and bank deposits. Responsibilities include maintaining high cleanliness standards, managing delinquent accounts, and handling administrative duties while building strong customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions. Requires 2+ years of customer-facing experience and a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle; HS diploma or GED is required. Daytime, full-time schedule with potential Sundays off depending on location; Birmingham, AL site. Strong leadership or potential for leadership is valued; opportunities for growth within a large national company.

- Leadership experience preferred but not required
- Sale experience preferred
- Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle; except in New York City and Brooklyn
- High School diploma or GED is required; college education is a plus
