Job Summary
Store Manager role in Athens, AL overseeing the operation of Dollar General stores and related facilities. Responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating and counseling staff; ensuring proper staffing, open/close procedures, and adherence to safety, security, and company policies; managing inventory, ordering, stocking, merchandising, pricing, and in-stock targets; maintaining cashier accountability and cash control; delivering superior customer service and leading a clean, safe, and well-organized store; enforcing federal/state labor laws and company procedures; requires strong knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and leadership with a high school diploma or equivalent and retail management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
