Job Summary
Store Manager oversees all store employees and operations, including staffing, training, performance evaluations, cash handling, inventory and merchandising, achieving in-stock targets, and ensuring safety and policy compliance. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified staff, conducting performance evaluations, guiding pay and advancement decisions, communicating expectations, opening/closing the store, reviewing sales and profitability, managing inventory and shrink, ensuring accurate cash handling and security, delivering superior customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and complying with company SOPs and policies. Requires ability to recruit/train staff, manage store operations, and apply basic retail principles; high school diploma or equivalent preferred with retail management experience welcomed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Ability to recruit, interview, hire, and terminate practices including legal compliance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred (location-specific)
