Job Summary
Store Manager role responsible for leading all store employees and store processes including staffing, training, performance evaluations, inventory management, ordering, merchandising, pricing, cash control, and safety compliance. Focus on achieving in-stock targets, analyzing sales and profitability, and ensuring a clean, secure, and well-organized store. Requires recruiting and developing staff, enforcing policies, managing payroll/advancement decisions, and maintaining financial integrity through cashier accountability and proper documentation. Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail management experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices
- Ability to recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff
- Ability to enforce company policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to open/close store regularly
- Legal compliance with labor laws
