Job Summary
Store Manager oversees store sales and profitability, directing all store operations and staff to meet sales goals. Responsibilities include training and mentoring Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training; managing payroll, scheduling, and labor goals; safeguarding assets and preventing loss; coordinating with the District Sales Manager on policies and initiatives; maintaining inventory control; staying informed on market trends and community events to drive opportunities; delivering exceptional customer service and representing the brand's appearance and professionalism to customers and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in retail footwear and athletic apparel
- 3+ years of management experience
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop staff
- Analytical thinking and business acumen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
