Job Summary
Lead the store by modeling sales behaviors, coaching the team, and managing labor to drive results while keeping operations humming with sharp zones and flowing freight. Balance team development, customer satisfaction, and operational execution to ensure every associate leaves happy and the store scorecard performs. You will plan for success through development check-ins and volume planning, pivoting quickly when the day throws curveballs. This role requires 5–10+ years of leadership experience and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay ranges from $52,500 to $66,300 with bonus opportunities tied to store success.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and place/move merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in situations involving communication with customers, managers, and coworkers regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of leadership experience where you've led teams and delivered results
- Experience managing a store or large department — retail preferred but not required
- You've grown from the inside — promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus
- Comfort leading in fast-paced, high-volume, or high-complexity store environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
