Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods while maintaining accurate inventory levels and stock movements. Organize the store area to ensure proper storage, safety compliance, and accessibility of items. Issue materials based on approved requisitions and conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and manage returns, while collaborating with procurement and finance teams on budgeting and forecasting. Operate forklifts and handling equipment as required, and assist in training new staff to promote operational efficiency. Maintain clean, organized environments and prepare reports on inventory consumption and stock status.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or related roles
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to operate handling equipment, such as forklifts
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to dynamic operational needs
