Job Summary
Fuel Technician responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fuel dispensing equipment, underground fuel storage systems, tank monitoring equipment, and electronic payment systems. This role ensures fuel systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all environmental regulations and company standards. Works primarily outdoors and may travel between locations; on-call after a designated training period. Maintains records, communicates repair recommendations, adheres to safety procedures, and supports environmental compliance. Performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fuel dispensers, ATG systems, tank monitoring equipment, and payment interfaces (card readers/POS).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
