Job Summary
Store Leader Trainee responsible for leading store operations with an emphasis on customer service, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and staff development. Builds and guides a leadership team (including an Assistant) to drive profitability, train and coach employees, manage merchandising programs, analyze store reports and P&L to drive change, handle cash and fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty rewards program. Requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and ability to maintain a clean, safe store environment; prior supervisory experience preferred. Pays $18.00–$20.00/hour with benefits and opportunities for advancement within 7-Eleven’s promote-from-within philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates that have at least one year of retail management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
