Job Summary
Store Leader Trainee responsible for overseeing customer service leadership, training and coaching of store staff, executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, and using store reports to drive profitability. Candidates should have supervisory experience and a track record of developing leaders, with a focus on maintaining store standards, cash handling, fuel transactions, loyalty program promotion, and adherence to health and sanitation procedures. The role emphasizes internal advancement through training programs, leadership development, and a strong promotion-from-within philosophy. This position supports a fast-paced, customer-centric convenience store environment and reports to the Store Leader/management team.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required with retail management experience
- Experience supervising store teams
- Ability to oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching
- Strong merchandising and marketing program execution
- Experience using store reports/P&L to drive change
- Cash handling and fuel transaction experience
- Understanding of health and sanitation procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
