Job Summary
Store Leader Trainee role focused on growing into a store leadership position. Responsible for supervising and coaching store employees, leading merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Key duties include customer-service leadership, training and coaching, implementing merchandising/marketing programs, analyzing store reports and P&L to inform decisions, cashier and fuel-transaction handling, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining a clean, safe environment compliant with health/sanitation procedures, and effectively communicating with the team. Strong emphasis on internal promotion, leadership development, and delivering results through a collaborative store-management approach.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of retail management experience (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License from state of residence
- Ability to oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching across store employees
- Ability to manage merchandising, marketing programs, and use store reports/P&L to drive change
