Job Summary
Store Leader Trainee at 7-Eleven responsible for leading store operations as part of the management team. Leads merchandising and marketing initiatives, develops and coaches store employees, uses P&L and store reports to drive change, manages cash handling and fuel transactions, and promotes the rewards loyalty program. Requires strong customer service leadership, ability to train and develop staff, and a focus on high retention and operational excellence. High School diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent retail management experience); valid driver’s license; capable of multi-tasking and physical duties (standing, bending, lifting). The role emphasizes internal advancement opportunities and a proven track record of leadership within a store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
- Ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
- Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change.
- Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of rewards loyalty program.
- Demonstrated ability maintaining a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock.
