Job Summary
Lead the ski/rental and retail operation in Hakuba, overseeing daily store operations, staff allocation, guest experience, and performance across multiple stores. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, managing in-store flow, inventory control, handling customer queries and escalations, training and mentoring team members, supporting sales and performance goals, ensuring store presentation and policy compliance, and collaborating with Guest Services and other Store Leads. Requires ski/snowboard technician experience, strong leadership and communication, organizational skills, and work rights in Japan; Japanese driver’s license or IDP is preferred, with English proficiency required and Japanese language skills advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Valid work rights for Japan
- Ski and/or snowboard technician experience is essential
- Previous rental, retail, or supervisory experience essential
- Japanese Drivers Licence or International Drivers Permit
- Strong English communication skills
- Japanese language skills are an advantage but not necessary
