Job Summary
Store Lead at The Udder Bar in Allentown, PA is responsible for leading a mid-sized team in a fast-paced ice cream parlor, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising 12–30 employees, managing inventory and store processes, training and hiring new staff, covering shifts as needed, preparing ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes for customers and third-party delivery, and collaborating with upper management to implement improvements and menu concepts. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving under pressure, and a reliable, outgoing leadership presence, with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age and can work 25 to 35 hours a week
- Must have lead experience in a fast paced/quick service restaurant
- Experience leading a mid-size team (12 to 30 employees)
- Food Certification (Preferred not a must)
- Experience with inventory procedures
- Experience with store processes and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to troubleshoot and problem solve issues that arise
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be willing to cover shifts as needed
- Food experience a must
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Be a leader with great organizational skills
- Prepare ice cream, milkshake, and sundaes for both customers and third party delivery services
- Help Train and hire new employees
- Provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with upper management to implement operational improvements
