Job Summary
Receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display in the store. Determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards. Assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area. Helps store customers in donating and selecting store items; responds to customer questions. Requires ability to meet attendance requirements, read, write, and communicate in English. Duties involve continuous walking, stooping, standing, and lifting objects up to 75 lbs. Working hours are Monday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
- Ability to lift, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) frequently with a helper
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
