Job Summary
Lead a retail team and drive daily store operations by stocking shelves, building displays, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests. Partner with your Executive Team Lead mentor to execute daily priorities, deliver performance feedback, and present results at huddles. Manage guest engagement, resolve issues, and set department goals while reviewing business reporting to troubleshoot opportunities. Coordinate merchandise movement and cash register operations, adhering to all safety policies and ethical conduct standards. This paid 40-hour week internship prepares you for an Assistant Store Manager role through hands-on training and ongoing development conversations.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within our stores in management
