Job Summary
Lead a retail team on the salesfloor and backroom by aligning members on daily priorities, stocking shelves, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Partner with your Executive Team Lead mentor to coach, train, and deliver timely performance feedback while addressing team concerns and removing operational hurdles. Present at daily huddles, plan departmental goals, and review business reporting to troubleshoot opportunity areas. Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting shoppers, solving specific needs, and empowering team members to resolve issues. Engage in ongoing development conversations and actively participate in internship training activities. This paid 40-hour weekly program prepares you for an Assistant Store Manager role, featuring a salary range of $22.75–$23.75 per hour in Greensboro, Winston Salem, or Durham, NC, starting Summer 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Climb up and down ladders as needed
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed

- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
