Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls while achieving personal and store sales goals. Deliver DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs. Maintain store product and operational standards by managing inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot outs, and cycle counts. Ensure store cleanliness and handle general stocking including truck stocking and back stock. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed. This bilingual role requires English and Spanish proficiency and basic automotive system knowledge. Schedule includes evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Speak and write English and Spanish
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Operating inventory systems and store equipment
- Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- Expert at testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (occasionally)
- Close vision
- Distance vision

- Ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Fleet safety certification
- Good knowledge of store systems
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
