Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, handling returns, distributing sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assisting in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness and stocking inventory, engaging with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services, and performing other duties as assigned. Must maintain safe driving, operate delivery boards and inventory systems, and demonstrate strong English communication, math, and customer service skills; ability to work various days and weekends and to learn about new products and sales techniques.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong customer service and sales aptitude
- Ability to use inventory systems and store equipment
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
