Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, handling returns, promoting current sales and loyalty programs, and maintaining store cleanliness. Duties include upselling/cross-selling to increase average transaction value, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, managing inventory and back stock, stocking and cycle counts, assisting customers in selecting parts or services, and operating the delivery board system. Must communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus), read safety and maintenance documents, and be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred; valid driver’s license and safe driving are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to engage customers and promote products
- Automotive parts knowledge preferred
- Experience using inventory systems and store equipment
