Job Summary
Deliver automotive parts to pro customers and pick/stock parts; pick up returns and cores; distribute sales flyers and promote current sales and loyalty programs; collect credits, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and provide insights from deliveries; assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value; maintain store cleanliness and inventory (stocking, back stock, cycle counts) and assist customers with product recommendations; operate delivery board system and use safety and inventory systems; engage with walk-in customers to assess needs and provide solutions; adhere to safety, driving, and customer-service standards; willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional up to 100 pounds with assistance
- English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred
