Job Summary
Store Driver position at Advance Auto Parts responsible for picking, staging and delivering automotive parts to professional customers, collecting returns, promoting current sales and loyalty programs, and maintaining store cleanliness. Maintain knowledge of inventory and new arrivals; assist customers in identifying parts or services; engage in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value; manage cycle counts and back stock; operate the delivery board system; lift and move heavy items and work a varied schedule including weekends. Strong English communication and customer service skills required; Spanish a plus. Safety awareness and ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs are essential; prior automotive parts experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Prior automotive parts experience is preferred
- Must read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to learn inventory systems and stock knowledge
- Customer service and sales aptitude
