Job Summary
Store Driver delivers automotive parts to pro customers, picks and stages deliveries, and assists with returns. Responsibilities include dropping off sales flyers, collecting on credit accounts, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness and stocking, engaging with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services, and operating inventory systems. Essential skills include safe driving, navigation, customer-service oriented communication, inventory awareness, basic math, and a willingness to learn new products and sales techniques.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
