Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering automotive parts to pro customers, picking up returns, assisting with upselling and cross-selling, and maintaining store cleanliness and inventory. Engages with walk-in customers to identify needs and recommends appropriate parts or services. Maintains knowledge of inventory and new arrivals, operates the delivery board system, and supports daily sales and loyalty programs while ensuring safety and accuracy in handling parts. Requires a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, ability to read safety and maintenance documents, basic math skills, and strong customer-service orientation; English required (Spanish a plus). Regularly works a part-time schedule including potential evenings and weekends, with in-store duties and occasional outside work depending on tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
- Basic math proficiency for unit conversions and calculations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Prior automotive parts experience preferred
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
