Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, picking up returns, distributing sales flyers, and promoting current sales and loyalty programs. Maintains store cleanliness, handles general stocking, builds relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assists in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value, and uses inventory systems to manage back stock. Requires safe driving, effective communication, ability to engage customers, knowledge of products/inventory, and physical ability to lift and move items up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed. Must read and understand safety rules and manuals; proficient in basic math; fluent English (Spanish a plus). High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
