Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, handling returns, stocking and merchandising, dropping off weekly/monthly sales flyers, up-selling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing strong customer service. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; read and interpret safety rules and manuals; perform basic math; communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus); ability to work varied shifts including weekends/evenings; automotive parts knowledge preferred; engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services; maintain inventory accuracy and safety in a fast-paced retail environment; adhere to safety policies and utilize delivery/inventory systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- English language proficiency (spoken and written); Spanish a plus
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units)
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Willingness to learn about products and sales techniques
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
