Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, picking up returns, promoting current sales and loyalty programs, daily collection of credit accounts, and building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers. Performs store housekeeping, inventory stocking and cycle counts, engages with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts/services, upsells/cross-sells to increase average transaction value, and ensures safety and use of inventory systems. Must read safety rules and manuals, perform basic math, and work various shifts; prior automotive parts experience is preferred; English (Spanish a plus) is beneficial for customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Experience in automotive parts or related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
