Job Summary
Store Driver at Advance Auto Parts responsible for picking, staging, and delivering parts to pro customers; assisting in upselling/cross-selling and promoting loyalty programs; maintaining store cleanliness and inventory; engaging with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend solutions; and ensuring safety and accuracy in daily driving, packing, stocking, and back stock operations. Must use the delivery board system, read safety and maintenance instructions, interpret parts catalogs, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus). Prior automotive parts experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent and a valid drivers license required; ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends; strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
