Job Summary
Store Driver responsibilities include picking, staging, and delivering parts to pro customers, accepting returns, promoting sales and loyalty programs, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assisting with upsell and cross-sell activities to raise transaction value, and maintaining store cleanliness and inventory accuracy. The role requires safe driving, navigation, effective communication with customers and team, familiarity with inventory systems, ability to interpret safety rules and manuals, basic math proficiency, and flexibility to work various days including weekends. Automotive parts experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. English fluency is expected; Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong customer service and sales aptitude
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
