Job Summary
Store Driver delivers parts to pro customers and picks up returns, drops off sales flyers promoting current offers, maintains inventory knowledge, and assists with upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value. Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, stocking back stock and shelves, engaging with walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend parts or services, and using the delivery board system. The role emphasizes safe driving, customer relations, and inventory control, with a focus on meeting customer needs and supporting sales goals. Required skills include fluent English (Spanish a plus), reading and interpreting safety and product documents, basic math, and the ability to work varied shifts; education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance (frequent) and 50 pounds unassisted (frequent)
