Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging, and delivering automotive parts to pro customers, handling returns, distributing sales flyers, and maintaining relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights from deliveries. Includes upselling/cross-selling to increase average transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking inventory, staying knowledgeable on product arrivals, engaging walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires safe driving, navigation, familiarity with delivery boards, strong customer service skills, ability to interpret safety and product documents, basic math, and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Automotive parts experience preferred; Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Language: English required; Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Effective communication and customer service orientation
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
