Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging, and delivering automotive parts to professional customers, handling returns, stocking and inventory tasks, and promoting sales and loyalty programs. Must build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, maintain store cleanliness, manage back stock and cycle counts, and engage walk-in customers to identify needs and offer appropriate parts or services. Requires safe driving, navigation, strong communication, basic math, and the ability to use inventory systems and a delivery board. Location-specific duties include within-store tasks and occasional outside work; availability to work various shifts including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Experience in automotive parts preferred
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- English language skills (Spanish a plus)
- Strong customer service orientation and sales aptitude
