Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging, and delivering parts to professional customers; handling returns; promoting sales and loyalty programs; managing credit accounts; building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value; maintaining store cleanliness and stock (including back stock and cycle counts); staying knowledgeable on inventory and new arrivals; engaging walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend parts or services; operating with safety and inventory systems; effective communication and customer service to support sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Prior automotive parts experience preferred
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units)
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
