Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging and safely delivering parts to pro customers, picking up returns and cores, and drop-off of weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. Maintains store cleanliness, stocks inventory and back stock, builds relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assists in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, and uses the delivery board system. Requires effective English communication (Spanish a plus), ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs, basic math, and ability to work varying shifts including days/evenings/weekends. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred; must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to use math in all units of measure
- Ability to operate inventory systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
